We're looking for speakers to share their expertise and engage with their peers from around the world.

The SDS2 Community Wants to Hear Your Story

SDS2 is now accepting presentation proposals for SDS2 Summit, taking place September 25-26, 2024, in Louisville, KY. Join us as a speaker and get ready to inform, inspire, and engage with the best user community in steel construction! 

Follow the guidelines below and submit your proposal by May 10 to be considered. Chosen speakers will receive free registration* for the event—it's the perfect opportunity to share knowledge, inspire your peers, and gain valuable recognition for your company. 

Presentation Categories

We are especially looking for learning sessions and presentations in the categories below:

 

Tips and Tricks Tell us how you leverage the tools and features in SDS2 to get more done, from beginner tips to advanced use.
Case Studies Tell us how you've used SDS2 to tackle a cool project or drive innovation in your business.
Workflows Walk us through your daily workflows. RFIs, revision control, connection design—you name it!
Industry Trends Share your insights on the future of steel fabrication and detailing and how you're using technology to tackle today's biggest challenges.

Pro Tips

Before submitting your proposal, maximize your chances for selection by considering the following tips. Successful proposals will: 

  • Have a concise and specific purpose with clear learning objectives 
  • Cater to a specific audience and/or user level
  • Be appropriate in scope for a 50-minute breakout session
  • Avoid self-promotion or sales pitches for other products or services

What to Expect

Here's are some of the guidelines and expectations you can expect if your proposal is selected. 

  • Chosen speakers will receive one free registration pass* to SDS2 Summit. Presenters will be responsible for their own travel expenses.
  • Any demonstrations or photos of SDS2 tools or features must be presented in SDS2 2024 (Lightning Mode)
  • SDS2 will provide an event PowerPoint template to be used for the presentation. Complete presentation materials must be submitted prior to the event (further details will be communicated if chosen). 
  • All presentation rooms will be equipped with a laptop and projector screen, as well as a microphone as needed. Speakers may optionally provide their own laptop or other device for demonstrations. Please note that access to the facility's WiFi on personal devices may require additional costs by SDS2 and is not guaranteed.  
  • Presentation spots are limited. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee selection to speak.

*Exclusions apply. An additional complimentary registration pass will not be provided to speakers from companies that are sponsoring or exhibiting at SDS2 Summit. Co-presenters for sessions are allowed, but only one complimentary pass will be provided per session.
